There was a coup attempt by military personnel to seized power last night in Turkey. The coup attempt which was very bloody is said to have left over 90 people dead, the state-run news agency Anadolu reported this morning adding that 1,154 people were wounded.
Nearly 200 unarmed soldiers at the Turkish military headquarters have meanwhile surrendered, an official said, adding that special troops were currently securing the complex.
