UNIZIK Goes Into Paint Production - The Nation

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State, has refurbished its Faculty of Physical Sciences for paint production. According to reports, the first set
of paints manufactured by the faculty was unveiled last week.

The VC, Prof Joseph Ahaneku, said the institution went into paint production to enable students practise what they learn and to promote entrepreneurship. The paints were being used in the ongoing renovation of the Faculty of Management Sciences.

He added that the institution would soon go into commercial production of paints to boost quality and availability. He also revealed plans to establish a bakery in the school.
